Inspection of Furnished Files

Upon receiving client files for a new project or adjunct to an existing project, files will be inspected for conformity with Signs Plus Wraps’ Guidelines for Furnished Digital Artwork. Upon file compliance, the client project, aka, “the Job” will be considered Acceptable and moved to Preproduction

Vinyl Installation Layout

Client artwork files are electronically positioned to fit an electronic version of the vehicle for proper installation alignment.

Layout Proof

An electronic Layout Proof is generated from the Vinyl Installation Layout. The layout proof is emailed to the Client that is responsible for approving the Layout Proof prior to its printing.

Approval of Layout Proof

Upon approval of Layout Proof, the Job is moved into Print Production.

Customer Layout Proof Alterations

Upon receiving the Layout Proof, if the Client decides to make changes (color, content, vinyl substrate, target vehicle), another Layout Proof will be generated reflecting those changes and emailed to the Client. Client requests for alterations of Layout Proof are billed at $90 USD hourly, minimum 1 hour charge.

Print Production

The approved Job is moved to Print Production, where it is printed at full size ready to be installed on the vehicle. Other finishing operations (lamination, die-cutting, etc) will be processed at this time.

Vehicle Application

Printed, finished vinyl is installed on the vehicle with greatest possible alignment accuracy based on a viewing distance of 8-ft from the vehicle.
